6 June – 12 September, Roero. Night walks in the company of Fables of Aesop and Phaedrus, with theatrical animations, Tales by Moonlight, Botanical and Faunistic Studies.

A much awaited event in the summer of ’ Roero with 18 Participating municipalities for walkers and fitness enthusiasts, families with young children entranced by nature at night and plays animations in the Woods, tourists looking for a creative event, a middle-aged audience that loves to meet and spend a summer with ’.

The calendar 2014 will be divided into twenty night walks, from June to September, involving eighteen Municipalities: In addition to those of the Rocche, serving the wildest trails and wooded, even the softer hillsides sloping down to the river Tanaro will be offered for walkers, with pleasant scenic routes among orchards and vineyards. Are the municipalities of Guarene, of Castellinaldo and Govone to enter between the adherents of this edition of the Nocturnes.

The thread to be proposed in walks with theatrical animation will be the Fables of Aesop and Phaedrus, Greek and Latin authors who entrusted their teachings and their moral short stories starring animals. Foxes, Wolves, pastors, sheep, Ravens, hares, each representing a human characteristic, a common behavior. The most beautiful Fables will be proposed as short “theatrical play” between the Woods and the nature of the Rocche, the only light of torches and candles. To bring in this year ’ scene four different theatre companies: the company L ’ Blue Angel, the Coincidences of Alba, the Macramé Bra Company and the company Perla Corsara in Turin.

In addition to theatrical walks will be offered nine evenings with Botanical and Faunistic Studies: from the evening dedicated to butterflies and their habitat, by entomologists of WWF of Asti a study on herbs and their uses by the agronomist Cristina Marello. Cultural insights with the evening dedicated to zoomusicology, or the study of animal sound communication, the approach to meditation and relaxation in nature with Irene Ciravegna Above Association, the curious Spider Trekking dedicated to the study of the behaviour of spiders, in care of ’ expert Alberto Chiarle, He has conducted research on spiders in the damp environment of the Rocche ’.

Further opportunity to fruition is the BIKE NIGHT: beyond that on foot, You can go on walks four MTB alternative itineraries, accompanied by guides of the Amateur Sports Association ’ Giorgio Cycles. The bikers will ricongiungeranno the serpent of walkers in moments of animation and final refreshment. Each walk, as customary, ends with a final snack and scented teas that combine the Goodnight sleep.
