In the new and historic location of ancient Castle Square, under the restored walls of the castle of medieval origin of Moncalvo, where will be placed the stage on which there will be dance workshops (by day) and various shows in the evenings.

UNTIL SUNDAY 30 JUNE: "MONCALVO IN CANTO"

From the 26 June and throughout the weekends are the familiar Moncalvo operating professors Cristina Rampini, Manuel Gervasoni, Fioretta Mari, Vittorio Matteucci, Danila Satragno and Grazia Di Michele which treat stage on interpretation and on singing Pop and musicals. Saturday 29 June will be held also the semi-finals of the singing contest (Pop and musicals) beginning at 20 (entrance: 10 euro) While Sunday 30 June finals will take place beginning at 21 (entrance: 15 euro). To host the workshop in singing and keystrokes will contest crucial municipal theatre of Moncalvo, overlooking piazza Garibaldi, the "living room" of Moncalvo. The jury of "Moncalvo in 2013 Chant" sit: Fioretta Mari, the artistic director of Castrocaro Massimo Cotto, Grazia Di Michele, Manuel Gervasoni, Vittorio Matteucci and Danila Satragno.

Mon 1 SUN 7 JULY: "MONCALVO IN DANCE"

Mon 1 July will be opened "PalaMoncalvo", the structure set up in piazza Antico Castello, between the walls of the historic fortress of Moncalvo, with the stage and 400 indoor seating. Already in the evening of Sunday 30 June, in the evening you will get even the rich productions of dance evening shows at the "PalaMoncalvo" of ancient Castle Square. The beginning will be all under the banner of solidarity: at 21.00 the My Day Academy, Asti will propose a charity evening in aid of Parkinson of Asti Association chaired by Gabriella Barbero with the show entitled "the universe in your hands" (entrance: 10 euro with all proceeds donated to a.P.A. that includes Parkinson's patients in the area by organizing artistic initiatives, sportsbook, recreational and psychological support). About the event, that coordination is maintained by scenic and dance teacher of My Day Academy Elena Zo, will treat, through the filming of dance, teatro, music and Visual Arts, the topic of diversity and of exclusion and overcome them through art. "The idea of the show came when I read the poems and writings of the same Gabriella Barbero, poems from which emerges a clear and strong message of suffering, due to the diversity and exclusion experienced after the discovery of the disease, and how this suffering has been faced and overcome by writing. We have therefore decided to make this beautiful message of hope the theme of our show, reading and interpreting, in a contamination of Arts, not just some poems of Mrs. Barbero, but also testimonies of great artists who have lived because of diversity and different and that exclusion from his art were ' saved '.
