The vineyards extend, for the most part in the municipalities of Vinchio and Vaglio Serra and, in most limited, neighbouring municipalities (Incisa Scapaccino, Cortiglione, Nizza Monferrato).
This territory, located between the hills of’Alto Monferrato, It is characterized by little fertile land, predominantly calcareous nature and sandy: most of the vineyards are located, mostly, on very steep slopes, leveraging optimal exposures, and with a very close planting density. It is a hard viticulture, that requires the constant presence of’ man for most jobs, where the screw is able to express themselves in the best way: low yields (1.5 – 2 Kg grapes per vine), high sugar levels, the grapes produced by these screws has all the ingredients needed to become a great wine.
For the cultivation of vineyards members employ a technical assistance service that provides programs for the integrated pest management of the vine: the goal is to implement a viticulture at very low environmental impact by restricting the use of plant protection products.
To make the best use of the great potential of the grapes the wine cellar is equipped with State-of-the-art equipment, modern vinification and an increasing number of small French oak barrels for aging fine wines.
