In the Castle Park the extraordinary flourishing of thousands of Dutch tulips and daffodils Announces spring.

The parco del castello di Pralormo is in itself of great historic and landscape interest having been designed by the court architect Xavier Kurten creator of the most important gardens of Savoy residences.
The event involves the whole Park: in big meadows were created from flower soft and sinuous shapes, designed taking particular care not to alter the park system wanted by Xavier Kurten, the flowerbeds then "meander" among the trees rather than appear regular and geometric. Undergrowth peep out clumps of daffodils and grape hyacinth; the shores of small lakes, water supplies to irrigate the Park during the summer months, are lit up from tulips and white and yellow daffodils; Towering above the Imperial fritillarie regular beds of tulips and dense beds of horned rim trails violets; shady areas located at the bulbous dark coloured who fear the Sun's rays; along the serra the accumulated heat of the thick brick wall ensures early blooms while the first leaves appear on the branches.
The planting, that takes place in autumn, involving 10 people for over 10 days, offers both rare varieties and often unknown to the Italian public that variety choices to illustrate the history of the Tulip and the incredible transformations developed by Dutch hybridizers.
Over the past 500 years have selected varieties always higher, varied and diverse: the subtle Starry tulips, at lily flower; Tulips Parrot, “unkempt"and the rich mottling; the sumptuous tulips Double, so rich they seem peonies; the rarest tulips perfumed and the curious fringed tulips but also the variety "Impression"that surprise for the incredible height of the stem and the size of the corolla.

MESSER TULIPANO therefore turns every spring the English park into a true Enchanted Garden, Welcoming in appliances and themed exhibitions exhibitions. Next to the amazing flowering in fact, the Festival proposes each year a side argument that animates the Park and appliances offering interesting insights for visitors young and old.

Next to the flowering of tulips, Welcome Park buttercups multi colored, precious orchids in the greenhouse and the section on orti It will be extended, in line with the bolstered attention has always been paid by Castello di Pralormo aspects of environmental education. Finally, to offer a spring golosa, the Castle promotes a Cake Design and a fun display of spectacular cakes!

The old Carr will host as always ample shop for spring purchases but also for gourmet tastings.

Every weekend, tastings but also animations and entertainment for adults and children. To spend a fun and peaceful day out for the whole family, the Park offers benches for resting and picnicking, a cafe restaurant, an ice cream shop and finally, for four-legged friends, fresh water bowls in the Park!
