Sounds from the hills of Langhe and Roero, Alba Music Festival

8 July – 3 August 2014 Alta (higher) Langa, the magic of music in an itinerary among the most fascinating places of Langhe and Roero.

“Traveling between the charm and the magic of music”: These are words that most often have accompanied our summer event: music and emotions entwined with the culture of the territory, by adding the pleasure of art and beauty ’ conviviality and hospitality ’, cast of a unique natural stage in which the music and the audience's ’ together to embrace the art ’ with thought and emotion ’.

The festival covers with concerts in daily basis, the period between the 13 July and the 3 August, preceded by ’ dell ’ 8 July Preview, accompanying the audience into an obliging to the discovery of places and beauties of this area.
So you pass by the unusual location and unmissable ’ suggestion of the concert in the woods of Monte Rotondo to Torresina, in Alta Langa, that to 12 on Sunday 13 July opens the exhibition, the castles of Grinzane Cavour, Verduno and Magliano Alfieri to beautiful villages of Castiglione Falletto and Sinio, the impressive seal seals the cart of Piobesi, le Terre del Barolo wine cellars and Mauro Molino ’ all Annunziata in La Morra, and then from the brotherhood of San Bernardino di Vezza d ’ Alba, all ’ fascinating shrine of our Lady of Hal of Murazzano, from the villages of Treiso, and Trezzo Tinella until ’ charm of alta langa and unusual places like il Mulino Marino di Cossano Belbo, and then, Of course, Alba.

Among the musicians of the ’ Edition 2014, a big band from Seattle, Washington, the Garfield Jazz Ensemble directed by Clarence Acox, for the dell ’ preview ’ July 8 at Crretta, then move on to the impressive Concert in the woods of Monte Rotondo in Alta Langa with the ’ Symphony Orchestra “Bartolomeo Bruni”, then ’ the brass quintet d of ’ Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale della RAI, the Quartet of Academy Tadini with Claudio ’ Plate, the ’ Ensemble Cathedral with a tribute to Ennio Morricone, the Florentia Consort Piano Trio, the CanavèisanBrass conducted by Hercules Waxing, the Kaleidotrio, The soprano Sung Hee Park and Moo Lim Kang accompanied by Andrea Stefenell, the Duo 2 Quartet, the Beaux Arts String Trio with Joaquín Palomares, some piano stars as Andrea Bacchetti and Csíky Boldizsár, soloists such as Gernot Winischhofer, Maurizio Training Lautaro Acosta, Gilbert Impérial, Antonio Puglia, István Kozma Levente, Mariano Melons, Adolfo Capitals, Andrea Calvani, Matteo Ferrario, Mario Marenco, Sebastian Roggero, the Spanish soprano Eugenia Boix, Anna Ferrer, not forgetting Joseph Nova, Artistic Director of the Festival, that will open the show with a solo exhibition in ’ forest of Torresina.
