At Govone, every weekend from December 1 2012 to the 6 January 2013, the old town is transformed into a real Christmas country with a thousand lights, animation for adults and children, Christmas parade, Fireworks, exhibition of Nativity scenes and Christmas related gifts and home Santa Claus in the Castle and Gospel concerts.

The historic centre of the Town of Govone will be animated in the first weekend of December from Santa Claus parade, evocative and magical journey into the world of fairy-tale characters narrated by Christmas.

Don't miss the classic Christmas market, with dozens of exhibitors of local craft and gastronomic products,  in Royal Park Avenue of Govone, rich of colours and scents that warm winter. Artisan Excellence, Sustainability, km0, organic certification.   will not only be the aroma of soothing hot chocolate or the smooth and perfect roundness of hazelnuts to involve children and adults in food and sensory journey. It will be an opportunity to discover the excellence of craftsmen in Piedmont, Christmas giftware, Nativity scenes, books and recipes. Walk along the path of Viale del Savoy Castle, browsing through and the wooden houses.

A great Santa's House with a collection of artistic works related to Christmas, that somehow I actually become objects that though in their simplicity are part of Christmas tradition and talk about their origins and their meaning, the decoration of Christmas trees, the candles, small furnishing accessories.

Over the weekend several events will involve children with fun and spectacular animations. The animated puppet theatres, luna park, Christmas animated checkers, Fireworks, singing animations, sbandieratori, WaSP meets with Santas, gathering of campers, and Befane. The historic centre of the town of Govone will turn into an impressive Christmas village rich in musical and theatrical performances to entertain visitors young and old. A scene created with beautiful lights, trees, stars and projections will accompany the public in an enchanted world. In the most important vocalists will animate the streets of the village with carols. A "Polar Express" train will bring children and not only on a journey through the streets of the town.

But the animation day par excellence will be the Santa Claus Parade, surprising and fascinating representation of the blithe spirit of Christmas.
